The Ski Touring & Splitboard Course – Hut Based was created to strengthen this discipline through real-world experience. Over four days you'll live in the mountains, continuously combine theory and practice, and develop concrete tools to move with more safety and sound judgment in the backcountry. The methodology combines a virtual classroom beforehand, theory sessions at base, and daily outings in the field, maximizing time on snow and the quality of learning.
Each day is designed as a progressive process: learn, apply, and analyze. The hut-based format also offers something key: more time in the mountains, better decisions, and better riding. Full comfort in the mountains, with lodging and special meals from our chef. This camp is aimed at skiers and snowboarders with off-piste experience who want to go a step further.
Familiarity with touring gear (skins, transitions) and a solid level of off-piste descending are required. Share the experience with other riders, learn in real terrain, and take home tools that will change the way you move in the mountains.
Expected outcomes at the end of the camp:
✅ Understand the fundamentals of avalanche formation and dynamics
✅ Identify avalanche-prone terrain and assess your exposure
✅ Apply practical decision-making tools
✅ Perform basic snowpack assessments
✅ Interpret avalanche bulletins and weather conditions
✅ Apply rescue protocols
